You bring the material. Composium conducts the composition.

1. Composium

Composium is a composition method and the system through which that method is provided.

The method may be applied through different bounded services.

The current services include:

Composium.app — a digital composition instrument.

Composium Session — a human-conducted composition session.

Other services or longer engagements may be offered under separate terms or agreements.

Each service has its own defined boundary. Using one Composium service does not automatically enter you into another.

2. Composium.app

Composium.app is the public domain through which the digital composition instrument becomes operative.

One use of the instrument is one bounded composition.

The current product is one bounded digital composition: a 300-second active composition interval inside a complete compositional movement, releasing a resolved Composium Card for €4.

You bring one unresolved situation or body of material into the instrument.

Composium conducts that material through its composition method toward resolution.

A completed composition produces a Score.

The Score is represented outwardly by a Composium Card.

The Card is the portable object produced by the service. It is not the complete runtime, transcript, account, or identity of the person who created it.

3. What you bring

You decide what material enters a composition.

This may include text, situations, questions, decisions, ideas, plans, work, or other material you choose to submit.

You must have the right to use material you submit.

Do not submit material where doing so would violate another person's rights, confidentiality, law, or an obligation you owe to someone else.

Entering material into one composition does not give Composium unrestricted authority over you or over material outside that composition.

4. What Composium does

Composium processes the material you deliberately provide for the purpose of conducting the composition you entered.

The instrument may listen, distinguish, structure, infer, compose and formulate movement from that material within the boundary of the service.

Composium uses computational and artificial-intelligence systems as part of this process.

These systems operate as components of the instrument. Their participation does not give an external provider ownership of your composition or authority over your account, custody, payment, or decisions.

Composium does not promise that a Score is objectively true, complete, or the only possible resolution.

The service is a compositional instrument. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other regulated advice.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to conduct a Score in the world.

5. Resolution

The purpose of a composition is resolution.

A resolution does not mean that Composium decides for you.

It means the material has reached a form from which a definite movement can be understood or conducted.

The system conducts the composition.

You conduct what happens next.

6. Score and Card

A Score is the resolved composition produced through the Composium method.

A Composium Card is the bounded, portable representation of that Score.

The Card may contain elements including Tone, Composition and Conduct together with limited provenance information identifying the composition and its origin in the instrument.

The Card is designed to leave the runtime.

The runtime does not travel with it.

A Card does not represent your complete identity, history, profile, or everything that occurred during composition.

7. Price and release

The current price of one composition is €4, including applicable taxes where stated at purchase.

Composition and payment are distinct.

Resolution occurs before payment.

Payment authorizes release of the resolved Composium Card.

In other words:

Resolution makes the Score real. Payment releases the Card.

Payments are processed by an external payment provider.

Payment information does not become compositional identity, custody, or authority merely because a transaction has occurred.

If payment succeeds but technical delivery is interrupted, Composium may use transaction and composition records necessary to recover or complete the purchased release.

8. Immediate performance and withdrawal

The current product is a digital service intended to begin immediately when you deliberately enter the composition.

Where applicable consumer law gives you a withdrawal period, beginning the service immediately may require your express request or consent and acknowledgement of the consequences for that withdrawal right.

The entry interface will present the applicable confirmation before the service begins.

Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited.

If the service is defective, unavailable, or not supplied as agreed, statutory consumer rights continue to apply.

9. Your composition

Your composition is yours.

Using Composium does not transfer ownership of material you bring into the service or rights you hold in the resulting composition.

You give Composium only the permissions reasonably necessary to process your material, operate the service you requested, produce the Score, deliver the Card, and perform actions you explicitly request.

That permission does not become an unrestricted right to use your material for unrelated purposes.

You remain responsible for rights in material you supplied and for rights of other people that may exist within it.

10. The Composium instrument

Composium retains its rights in the instrument.

This includes, where protected by law, Composium's software, architecture, method, interfaces, systems, prompts, designs, documentation, names, marks and other original material.

Your ownership of your composition does not transfer ownership of the instrument.

Composium's ownership of the instrument does not transfer ownership of your composition.

Crossing the boundary works both ways.

11. Account and Vault

You do not need to become an account merely because you conduct a composition.

Authentication establishes an account relationship.

It does not by itself Save a composition.

When you deliberately choose Save, you ask Composium to keep the resolved composition in authenticated custody in your Vault.

Your Vault contains compositions you have explicitly chosen to keep.

Account custody does not give Composium ambient authority to reopen or continue a finished composition.

A new composition requires a new deliberate entry.

What Save, Vault custody, and the other actions available to a resolved composition actually mean and permit is defined in Composium's Conduct policy.

12. Removing material and data rights

You may remove or request deletion of compositions held in your account. What each of those actions does, and how they differ, is defined in Composium's Conduct policy.

Where personal data is processed, you may also exercise applicable data-protection rights, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where those rights apply. Composium's Privacy Policy explains what personal data is processed, why it is processed, how long it is retained, which providers receive it, and how those rights can be exercised.

13. Saving, sharing and crossing

A resolved Score does not automatically go everywhere Composium technically could send it.

Crossings — Save, Send, offering a composition to Composium, or otherwise externalizing a Card — are deliberate, separate actions, each with its own specific meaning and limits.

What each crossing means, and what it does and does not authorize, is defined in Composium's Conduct policy.

14. Composium Sessions

A Composium Session applies the composition method with a human conductor.

The current standard session is:

A session works on one real composition toward resolution.

The conductor conducts the composition with you. The conductor does not assume authority over you, your identity, values, business, or decisions.

A booking, payment, timing, cancellation or other condition specific to a session will be shown before that session is purchased or confirmed.

Longer projects or architecture engagements require a separate scope and agreement.

15. Providers

Composium uses external infrastructure to operate the service.

This currently includes providers for server execution, database and authentication infrastructure, payment processing, composition inference and transactional email.

Those providers perform bounded technical functions on Composium's behalf or under their own applicable service roles.

Their involvement does not redefine who owns a composition or what constitutes a Composium Score, account, Save, release or act of conduct.

Information about processing of personal data by relevant providers belongs in the Privacy Policy.

16. Availability and changes

Composium is an operating digital service.

We work to keep it available and reliable, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

Networks, devices, payment systems, authentication systems, model providers and other infrastructure can fail.

We may maintain, modify, improve, restrict or discontinue parts of the service.

Changes do not give Composium retroactive ownership or authority over compositions already created.

If a material change affects an ongoing paid service or a right you have already acquired, applicable law and the terms applying to that transaction continue to govern it.

17. Responsibility

Composium is responsible for providing the service in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for the material you choose to submit and for deciding what you do with the resulting Score.

Composium does not guarantee a particular external outcome from conducting a Score.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Composium is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from decisions or actions a person independently takes after receiving a composition.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

18. Misuse

Do not use Composium to:

• violate another person's rights;
• obtain or expose material you are not entitled to access;
• submit unlawful material;
• attack, circumvent or interfere with the instrument or its boundaries;
• impersonate another person;
• use the service in a way that unlawfully harms, deceives or exploits others; or
• attempt to convert access to the instrument into unauthorized access to Composium systems or other compositions.

Composium may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other people, legal obligations or the integrity of the instrument.

19. Ending

Every composition is bounded.

Exit ends the active composition.

Ending a runtime does not automatically delete a Card you deliberately Saved, a transaction record Composium is legally required to retain, or information whose retention has another lawful basis.

You may stop using Composium at any time.

Account and data-control mechanisms are governed by the service functionality, these Terms, the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law.

If you use Composium as a consumer, mandatory consumer protections applicable to you remain unaffected.

Any dispute should first be raised directly with Composium so that it can be resolved where possible.

Consumer users may also have access to statutory consumer-advice and dispute-resolution mechanisms applicable in their country.
